About us
Bread is an established charity* with a long history of providing high quality, youth work services and projects to Bristol's young people.
The organisation employs a team of youth workers and support staff and is governed by voluntary members as legal trustees (Bread's management committee). Young people are actively involved in Bread's decision making processes as well as the development, fundraising, implementation and review of all of our services and projects.
Bread is funded by trusts and foundations, statutory partners and benefits from the support of many partner organisations and individuals.
Strategic aim
Bread's strategic aim is to support the development of empowered young people who:
